지난 11/30일 메리어트(Marriott)는 고객 정보가 해킹당했다고 발표했습니다.

스타우드(Starwood) 호텔의 예약 정보가 해킹되었다고 하네요. 총 5억명의 정보라고 합니다. 여권정보, 전화번호, 이메일 주소, 신용카드 등이 유출되었고 합니다. 메리어트가 스타우드를 인수하기 전인 2014년부터 해킹되었다고 하네요.

아마 이번에 멤버십을 통합하면서 파악한게 아닌까 싶네요.

추가적인 내용이 나오면 더 자세히 알 수 있겠지만, 아마 해킹 피해 여부를 알 수 있는 안내 메일 등이 갈 것으로 보입니다.
