우선 이번 결과의 시사점에 대해서 5개 키워드로 간단히 정리했네요. Up, up and up점수가 전반적으로 올라갔다고 합니다. 특히 UpperMidscale 호텔에서요. 그 다음은 Luxury, UpperUpscale, Upscale, Midscale 호텔이라고 하네요.Flying high가장 높은 점수는 역시 럭셔리 브랜드에서 나왔습니다. 결과는 아래에 소개드리겠습니다. 가장 많이 상승한 브랜드는 UpperMidscale 호텔인 Drury Hotels이라고 합니다.
Technology offerings are important 최신 기술 제공이 매우 중요해졌다고 합니다. 예를 들어 대다수 호텔에서 제공하는 대형 TV 보유는 점수에 많은 영향을 미치지 못했지만, 아직까지 제공되는 호텔이 적은 객실 컨트롤 용 태블릿이나 모바일 앱은 매우 큰 영향을 주었다고 합니다. Service satisfaction increases at a lesser rate 시설보다 서비스 만족도가 상대적으로 덜 올랐다고 합니다. 객실 시설이나 호텔 부대시설은 13점과 11점 상승한 반면, 체크인/아웃, 식음 부문은 5점과 7점 상승해서 낮은 상승폭을 보였다고 하네요. Think local, act local현지의 경험을 제공하는 것이 매우 중요해지고 있다고 합니다. 최근 호텔 마케팅은 Experience(경험)가 가장 중요한 시대인데요. 음식 등 각 지역 특유의 체험도 중요하지만 호텔의 시설들도 현지 경험을 제공하는 것이 중요하다고 합니다.

그럼 각 유형별 순위를 살펴보겠습니다.
Luxury 호텔
순위 **Luxury Average (879점) 1. The Ritz-Carlton (902점) 2. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts (896점) 3. JW Marriott (893점) 4. Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts (883점) 5. Loews Hotels & Resorts (881점) 6. Grand Hyatt (851점)**Luxury 유형에서는 리츠칼튼이 1위로 나타나습니다. 전체 호텔 중 유일하게 900점을 넘겼네요. 역시 럭셔리 호텔의 대명사 답죠? 우리나라에 있던 리츠칼튼은 리츠칼튼이라는 브랜드를 깎아먹다가 작년에 르메르디앙으로 변경되었지요. 뒤를 이어서 포시즌스, JW메리어트, 월도프 아스토리아 등의 순으로 나타났네요.
