이 NCSI와 동일한 방법론으로 미국, 일본 등 세계 각지에서 고객만족도 조사 결과를 발표합니다.
미국 미시건 대학교(the University of Michigan)에서 개발한 모델을 공통으로 사용하기 때문에 서로 비교도 가능한데요.
오늘은 미국의 결과를 알아보도록 하겠습니다.
미국의 조사는 **ACSI(American Customer Satisfaction Index)**라고 부르는데요.
ACSI 호텔 조사는 특이하게 5성급(Luxury, Upper Upscale)만 조사하는게 아니라,
4성 이하 등급들도 포함됩니다.(Upscale, Upper midscale, Midscale, Budget/economy)
그러다보니 전체 산업 점수는 다른 나라들에 비해 낮은 특징을 보입니다.
등급별 결과를 내주면 좋을텐데요.
이제 2017년 ACSI 결과 미국 호텔 고객만족도 순위를 살펴보시죠.
조사 결과는 2017년 4월 25일 발표되었습니다.
미국은 호텔 체인 전체에 대한 결과와 호텔 체인 중 개별 브랜드에 대한 결과를 모두 발표합니다.
우선은 산업 전체적인 부분을 알아보시죠.
산업 전체
보시면 호텔 산업 전체 점수는 전년 대비 2점 상승했네요.
최근 몇 년간 계속 하락추세였었는데요.
오랜만에 상승했습니다.
요즘 전세적으로 호텔 산업이 활황인데요.
이를 예고라도 한 것 같습니다.
ACSI의 분석에 따르면, 이 같은 점수의 상승은 대형 체인 및 고급 브랜드의 상승이 아닌 소규모 호텔 및 B&B호텔(Bed and Breakfast, 잠자리와 조식을 제공하는 간소화된 호텔)의 상승 때문이라고 합니다.
또 에어비앤비(Airbnb)와의 경쟁으로 기존 호텔들이 고객들에게 더 좋은 서비스와 가격을 제공했기 때문이라고 합니다.
